French Napoleonic 18s #4 - Day 7

Today I had several power cuts and issues with the house alarm which all conspired to impact my work. This said I did manage to get some paint on the French

Highlight the green areas with a coat of Warpstone Green(C)
Re-highlight the green areas with a coat of Goblin Green(VGC)
Highlight the pink areas with a 1:1 mix of Squid Pink(VGC):White
Re-highlight the black areas (inc. black leather and horses) with a coat of Dark Grey(VMC)
Add final highlights to the black areas (inc. black leather and horses) with a coat of Neutral Grey(VMC)

French Napoleonic 18s #4 - Day 6

Slightly earlier finish today; I've found a wargames club which meets at times when I'm free, so I will be checking it out tonight. As for the French, they are looking a lot brighter today.

Highlight any purple pom-poms with a coat of Royal Purple(VMC)
Dot inside the shako cockade and highlight the tunic with a slightly thinned coat of Dark Prussian Blue(VMC)
Blackline where needed with a coat of Black (for Elite/Command level complete this at the end)
Re-highlight the tunic with a slightly thinned coat of Intense Blue(VMC)
Add final highlights the tunic with a slightly thinned coat of Ultramarine(VMC)
Highlight all the pink cloth with a coat of Squid Pink(VGC)
Highlight any red plumes with a coat of Flat Red(VMC)
Highlight the cloth with a coat of Dark Green(VGC)
Highlight the black horses with a coat of German Grey(VMC)
Highlight the brown horses with a coat of Charred Brown(VGC)
Highlight the chestnut horses with a coat of Dark Fleshtone(VGC)
Highlight the bay horses with a coat of Leather Brown(VGC)
Highlight the grey horses with a coat of Cold Grey(VGC)

French Napoleonic 18s #4 - Day 5

Things are lightning up with the French, added white and pink making a real difference. Here's how:

Paint the light blue pom-poms with a coat of Lothern Blue(C)
Paint the Orange pom-poms with a coat of Macharius Solar Orange(C)
Wash the light blue pom-poms with a coat of Hard Body Blue(MM)
Wash the Orange pom-poms with a coat of Baal Red(C)
Paint any yellow cloth/feathers with a coat of Heavy Goldbrown(VGC)
Wash the light grey cloth with a coat of Soft Body Black(MM)
Highlight all the white cloth, webbing and piping with a coat of white
Highlight all the pink cloth with a coat of Squid Pink(VGC)

French Napoleonic 18s #4 - Day 4

Today was dominated by two colours namely Heavy Bluegrey and Warlord Purple. 

Paint all the white/light grey cloth, webbing, plumes and piping with a coat of Heavy Bluegrey(VGC)
Paint all the pink cloth (lapels, turnbacks and cuffs) with a coat of Warlord Purple(VGC)
