French Napoleonic 18s #5 - Day 7

I started by getting the main body of work on the horses completed, as these use different colours to the Infantry.

Highlighted the bay horses with a coat of Leather Brown(VGC)
Re-highlighted the bay horses with a coat of Plague Brown(VGC)
Highlighted the grey horses with a coat of Stonewall Grey(VGC)
Re-highlighted the grey horses with a 1:1 coat of Stonewall Grey(VGC):White
Painted the muzzle of the grey horse with Salmon Rose(VMC) or Luftwaffe Uniform(VMC)
Added some markings to the horse's faces with white
Highlighted the flesh areas (including some horse muzzles) with a coat of Medium Fleshtone(VMC)
Re-highlighted the flesh areas (including some horse muzzles) with a coat of Flat Flesh(VMC)
Highlighted the steal areas with a coat of Chainmail Silver(VGC)
Re-highlighted the steal areas with a coat of Silver(VGC)
Highlighted the brass/gold  areas with a coat of Brassy Brass(VGC)
Re-highlighted the brass/gold  areas with a coat of Glorious Gold(VGC)
Painted the straps on pack/blanket roll straps & cleaned-up the white areas (re-highlighting the light grey cloth) with a coat of White

This all just leaves the black-lining and matt varnish finish to complete these minis, which I will do tomorrow.
