French Napoleonic 18s #5 - Day 1

En avant! So I continue my work to paint a Napoleonic French army. This is part #5 which arrived yesterday, at which point I PVA'ed it to sticks in preparation for painting.

Here's what I did today:

Airbrushed the minis with black undercoat, followed by a grey dusting and finally Dark Prusian Blue(VMC) was aimed at the blue areas (and anything else in the line of fire).
I then marked the bases with their respective pom-pom/feather/campaign cloth colours.
The mounted Generals' horses (and the one mounted line officer). Black horses with German Grey(VMC), brown horses with Charred Brown(VGC), chestnut horses with Dark Fleshtone(VGC), bay horses with Leather Brown(VGC) and Grey/White with Cold Grey(VGC).
Red-brown leather, knapsacks, muskets, water gourds & any red-brown cloth with a coat of Heavy Sienna(VGC).
Grey cloth with Dark Grey(VMC).
And finally the black leather with Black.

All in all a productive day's work. Here's some pics:
