French Napoleonic 18s #2 - Day 7

They are done! As predicted these little guys were completed today.

I started by highlighting the flesh with Medium Fleshtone(VMC), followed by Flat Flesh(VMC).
Any facial hair was repainted with Heavy Sienna(VGC), a little white was added to this for a final highlight.
All the steal areas were highlighted Chainmail Silver(VGC), followed by a final highlight of Silver(VGC).
Then onto the brass areas, with Brassy Brass(VGC) followed with Glorious Gold(VGC).
Then the fun part, blacklining with, you guessed it black paint. Then the penultimate stage, clean-up with white, as well as highlighting the light grey cloth and white piping.
Finally, a layer of matt varnish was applied with the airbrush.

Tomorrow I will start work on the French Light Infantry.

And here's some pics, including a couple of close-ups.
